Ganondorf, meanwhile, has become the new sorcerer king of Hyrule. They have sealed Link’s soul so that he may become strong enough to defeat Ganondorf through wielding the Master Sword. Link awakens seven years later to find that seven Sages now protect the Sacred Realm.
Unfortunately, things go wrong as Link enters the Sacred Realm, but Ganondorf follows him and claims the Triforce before Link can.
He must find the three Spiritual Stones so that he can reclaim the relic in the Sacred Realm before Ganondorf does. Should Ganondorf come to possess it, this holy relic would give him godlike powers. After Zelda summons him, Link takes up the mission of stopping Ganondorf, the series’ main antagonist, from obtaining the Triforce.
